About Me and Welcome!
After my wedding in September 2007, I realized why the wedding planning profession existed! The whole process can be quite stressful, and money seems to disappear out of thin air. As a Bible-believing Christian, I longed to use the special day (and more importantly the subsequent marriage) to be a platform for the gospel, but all the errands and decisions to make quickly consumed my mind and erected themselves as idols in my heart.
This little site is just to record some of the lessons I learned and to offer resources that I found helpful to other soon-to-be brides. I know there are already tons of wedding websites, but hopefully the resources here can offer something from a different prespective. My friends also know that I love to find good deals, so it’s my pleasure to share them with everyone!
